HDFC BUSINESS CYCLE FUND : New Fund Offer(NFO)
HDFC Mutual Fund is going to launch its New Fund Offer (NFO) HDFC Business Cycle Fund on 11th November 2022.
An open-ended equity scheme following business cycle-based theme.
Investment Objective
The Investment objective of the scheme is to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity-related securities following the business cycle theme.
Fund Manager
Mr. Rahul Baijal is the fund manager of this scheme and is the senior fund manager, of equity at HDFC mutual fund. He has an experience of more than 20 years in equity research and fund management. Mr. Rahul has done his PGDM from IIM Calcutta.
Scheme Details
This scheme is open for subscription from 11th Nov. 2022 to 25th Nov. 25, 2022. The scheme is benchmarked against the Nifty 500 TRI(Total Return Index). Both direct and regular plans are available. The minimum application amount of the fund during the NFO Period is rupees 100, and any amount thereafter. If redeemed within one year of the purchase/switch-in of units, an exit load of 1% is payable.
HDFC Business Cycle Funds portfolio will be a blend of top-down and bottom-up approaches. The investment will be done across market capitalization, which is diversified across sectors.
Asset Allocation
The scheme will invest predominantly in equity and equity-related securities that follow the business cycle theme. This scheme will follow dynamic allocation between sectors and stocks at different stages of the business cycle. 80 to 100% of the net asset will be invested in equity and equity-related instruments of business cycle-based themes companies. 0 to 20% of its net asset be allocated in equity and equity-related instruments of companies other than the above.0 to 50% can be allocated in units of REITs and InViTs. 0 to 20% can be allocated in debt securities, money market instruments and fixed income assets & 0 to 20 % can be allocated in units of mutual funds.
Product Suitability
The product is suitable for investors who are seeking to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity-related instruments related to the business cycle theme. The ideal Investment horizon for the scheme should be more than three years.
